My device's LED is not pulsing during setup

For your device to pair, it needs to be in pairing mode, which is shown by the LED light pulsing.

The LED color depends on the type of device:

  • Activity sensors (Alarm Pod, SensePlug, SensePod): the LED pulses blue.
  • Accessories (Door Sensor, PIR Motion Sensor, Keypad): the LED pulses white.

Activity sensors (Alarm Pod, SensePlug, SensePod)

  1. Power off the device and wait for a few seconds
  2. Power it back on
  3. Check that the LED is pulsing blue

If the LED light isn’t pulsing, you’ll need to reset the device to factory settings. Follow these guides:

Door sensor & PIR Motion Sensor

  1. Press the button on the device to enable pairing mode
  2. Make sure:
    • The battery is properly installed
    • Any plastic tab has been removed
  3. Check that the LED is pulsing white

Note: The LED may be faint and harder to see in bright environments.

If the LED light isn’t pulsing, you’ll need to reset the device to factory settings. Follow this guide:

Keypad

  1. Press the key '0' once on the Keypad to enable pairing mode
  2. Make sure:
    • The battery is properly installed
    • Any plastic tab has been removed
  3. Check that the LED is pulsing white
