1. Verify that your device is powered on
Alarm Pod
Ensure your device is properly attached to a power socket with the original power supply adapter.
SensePlug
Ensure your device is properly inserted into a power socket.
Door Sensor
Ensure that the battery is inserted and not depleted.
2. Verify that your WiFi network is operational
Ensure your WiFi router is up and running.
If you've replaced your WiFi router, or if you've changed the SSID or the password of your network, you need to set up your devices again.
Verify that your WiFi router:
- Does not block DNS requests for the domain name eisbach.nami.surf
- Does not block outgoing TCP connections on port 5684
- Does not block Ireland or Europe (region blocking) as that's where our servers are located
3. Verify that your device is in range of the network
If your devices went offline after you moved it to another location, bring it back to the original location, or set it up again to ensure it's able to connect to the network from the new location.
4. Restart your device
Alarm Pod
Disconnect the power supply adapter, and connect it back after a few seconds.
SensePlug
Remove the device from the power socket, and insert it back after a few seconds.
Door Sensor
Take the battery off, and insert it back after a few seconds.
