If you’ve changed your Wi-Fi network — whether it’s the name, password, or router — you’ll need to update your system so your devices stay connected.
How to update the Wi-Fi network of a zone
- Go to your place > '⚙️ Settings' > 'Update Wi-Fi network'
- If you see a “Missing Thread Credentials” error, refer to the section below
- Select the zone you want to update
-
You’ll see the devices that need an update
If only one device is shown, that’s normal — updating it will reconnect the rest of the devices in the zone
Not sure which device to update? Tap Locate device and the app will show the device’s unique identifier (MAC address), which you can find on the back of the device
- Tap 'Update'
- Follow the steps in the app
Once completed, your Wi-Fi network will be updated for that zone. If you have multiple zones, repeat these steps for each one.
After the update, devices may take a few minutes to reconnect. They might appear offline temporarily during this time.
