If your Door Sensor isn't reporting its open or closed status in the app or doesn't trigger an intrusion when your system is armed, it might be offline. Here’s how to troubleshoot:

Check the battery
- Check the battery level in the device logs: Tap the device from your "Place homepage" and check its battery level on the device page
- If the battery is out of power, it's time to replace it.

Check the placement of the sensor and magnet
- Ensure the sensor and magnet are properly aligned. If they have moved, they might not be aligned anymore
- Reposition the sensor and magnet so they are no more than 0.8 in (2cm) apart, with their indicator lines aligned

Check the border router
- The Border Router is a device in your zone that ensures all other devices are connected and working
- Go to your devices list from the "Place homepage" and check which devices are offline. Plug back the offline devices and check that your Door Sensor is now online (this action may take a few minutes)

Check your Wi-Fi

Ensure your Wi-Fi is connected, as your system won't work without it
