Activity sensors, such as Alarm Pods and SensePlugs, work together to detect motion and require a minimum of 2 to start. If you meet this requirement but motion sensing is not working, here’s how to troubleshoot:

Check the power
- Make sure your devices are plugged in and receiving power
- Ensure you are using the supplied power adapter & USB cable for the Alarm Pod

Check Wi-Fi range
- Ensure your devices are within range of your Wi-Fi access point. If you’ve moved it to a new location, try bringing it closer to the Wi-Fi

Check your device placement
- Make sure your devices are placed on the same floor and within 3-10m (10-30ft) of each other
- Avoid placing your devices behind any object that could interfere with Wi-Fi signals such as metal appliances like speakers, microwave ovens and aquariums
If you're checking for motion on the 30 seconds graph (also known as the Motion Now graph)
- Check that your mobile phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your devices
